Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Service Handz, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Platform Role
Service Handz is a booking and connection platform. We facilitate scheduling, process connection fees, verify basic provider credentials, and help Clients and independent service providers ("Providers") connect. Service Handz does not perform services, supervise work, or guarantee outcomes — all services are performed exclusively by independent Providers.

Provider Verification & Eligibility
Providers may undergo background checks and verification of licensing, insurance, and payment methods before joining the platform. These checks confirm eligibility only; they are not a guarantee of a Provider's performance, skill, or conduct. Clients remain responsible for independently evaluating any Provider they book.

Independent Contractor Status
All Providers on Service Handz operate as independent contractors. They are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of Service Handz. Pricing, communication, and service outcomes are strictly between the Client and the Provider.

Emergency Pricing & Baseline Rates
For emergency bookings, Service Handz supports automatic booking using baseline pricing submitted by Providers and industry-standard research for common repair jobs. These baseline rates are labor-only and do not include parts or materials.

For basic emergency repairs, a Provider's final labor price should stay within 5% of the baseline estimate unless additional work, complications, or extra materials are discovered — in which case revised pricing is discussed directly between Client and Provider.

For jobs that can't be automatically priced, Service Handz may apply an Emergency Inspection Rate, which covers labor for an on-site evaluation only and does not include repair labor or parts.

Client-Provided Parts
Clients may supply their own parts only if the Provider accepts them and they meet code, compatibility, and safety requirements. Service Handz is not responsible for the quality or suitability of Client-provided parts.

Payments & Connection Fees
Payments collected by Service Handz are solely for platform access, matching, scheduling, and verification. This fee does not make Service Handz a party to any agreement between Clients and Providers.

Quality Program & Ratings
Service Handz may request ratings and reviews after a completed job to help future Clients make informed decisions. Ratings reflect the opinions of Clients, not endorsements by Service Handz.
Limitation of Liability
Service Handz is not liable for damages, losses, injuries, claims, or disputes arising from services arranged through the platform. Clients and Providers are solely responsible for verifying each other, negotiating terms, and complying with applicable law.

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
